Peggy Anne Doeden (Hoyt) was born September 14, 1942, in Jamestown, ND, to George and Aileen Hoyt (Pederson).
Peggy passed away on October 24, 2024, at age 82.
She graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1960.
Peggy was united in marriage to Donald Eugene Doeden on September 2, 1960, at the Lutheran Church in Shelly, MN. They made their home in Moorhead, MN. Peggy and Don raised four children, two boys and two girls.
She enjoyed doing ceramics and was a member of Al-Anon for many years. She loved baking and cooking for her family. She kept busy driving all four kids to their sporting events. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and they were very special to her. Peggy’s church and her faith were very important to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Aileen Hoyt, and her brother, Earl Hoyt.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Don, and their children: Terry (Patty), Tami (Paul), Loreen, and Dean (Kathy). Her grandchildren include Travis (Haley) and Michael Doeden; Leah, Aaron, and Sarah Roble; Justin Doeden, Nicole (Randy) Maier, and Nick Platten. She also had three great-grandchildren: Sawyer, Cora, and Camden. She is survived by her siblings, Sharon Strommen, Marlene (Keith) Falconer, and Al (Helen) Hoyt.
Peggy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and she will be missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, October 28, 2024, at 11:00 A.M., with visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M., at The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Moorhead, MN. A livestream of the service will be available. To honor Peggy's wishes, please consider wearing brightly colored clothing to the service.
