Peggy J. Hokanson

Peggy J. Hokanson, 45, Rothsay, MN, died on Monday, August 26, 2013, in Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.
Peggy was born on March 30 1968, in Wadena, MN, to Jerome and Jackie Schwantz Hokanson. She grew up and attended school in Verndale, MN, where she graduated from high school. She attended Moorhead State University and then Moorhead Technical Institute, where she graduated as a Registered Health Information Technologist.
Peggy has worked for the Roger Maris Cancer Center for many years and was employed there at the time of her death.
She enjoyed spending time outdoors and loved gardening. She was passionate about music and enjoyed reading. She loved her family and her animals and she will be greatly missed. She was loved by many.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Humane Society Fargo-Moorhead.
Peggy is survived by her mother, Jackie Hokanson, Verndale, MN; brother, Mike Julie Hokanson, Detroit Lakes, MN; sisters Pam Hokanson, Fergus Falls, MN, and Patti Joe Doeden, Moorhead, MN; niece Anna Hokanson; and nephews Ben Hokanson and Derek Norby. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerome Hokanson.
Memorial Service: Friday, August 30, 2013, at 1:30 P.M., in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN. Friends may gather for one hour before the service in the funeral home.
