Phyllis L. Wastvedt

Phyllis L. Wastvedt, 84, of Fargo, ND, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2013, in Villa Maria Nursing Home, Fargo, ND. Phyllis was born February 14, 1928, in Hawley, MN, to Harry and Nora Sullivan Rustad. She grew up in Hawley and graduated from Hawley High School in 1946. On December 22, 1950, Phyllis married Allen Wastvedt in Tacoma, WA. Together they settled in Hawley and Phyllis was able to spend much of her time taking care of the home and raising their family. In 1973, they moved to Moorhead. Allen died May 6, 2005. Phyllis most recently had resided at Villa Maria. She will be missed.

Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Sue Glen Wickland of Walker, MN; son, Ross Sonja Wastvedt of New Wilmington, PA; six grandchildren; brothers, Kenneth Rustad of Howard Lake, MN, Gordon Rustad of Moorhead, MN; and sister, Nyra Rustad of St. Louis Park, MN.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen; and her parents.
