Price J. Tefft

Price Jeffrey Tefft – Moorhead, MN. Price Jeffrey Tefft died Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Golden Living Center in Moorhead, MN following a long struggle with liver disease. Price formerly of Aberdeen, SD and Bowie, Maryland was born October 14, 1956 at Scott Air Force Base near Belleview, IL. He was the son of Glee E. and Elizabeth Butler Tefft. As a son of a career Air Force officer, he lived in several cities and Canada. When his father retired in 1967, the family moved to Lanham, MD eventually settling in Bowie, MD where he graduated from Bowie High School. He attended Wharton School of Business and worked at the Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C. before moving to Aberdeen, SD.In 1995, Price operated his own computer business in Aberdeen, SD until moving to Moorhead, MN in 2007. In 2009, he had a liver transplant but continued to struggle with his health. Price enjoyed working with his customers and introduced to the Internet to many mid-life and retired students in need of a comfortable learning environment. He was well known in the meeting and audiovisual industry in Washington, D.C. as an adept and intelligent meeting producer. A talented artist, Price enjoyed drawing for friends and family. He loved writing, books and movies and his best companion, his dog, Nelson. The family would like to extend their gratitude to those who befriended Price in his declining health. Thank you. His quick wit and sharp mind will be missed. Price was preceded in death by his parents, sister Peggy Tefft and brother Parke Tefft. He is survived by his brothers Paul Sherri Tefft and Pearce Tefft both of Fargo and his sisters Penny Richard Markley of Springfield, MO; Paige Howard Anderson of Aberdeen, SD; and Patience James Woodill of Missoula, MT; Nephews and Nieces: Philip Laura Tefft of Honolulu, HI; Peggy Matthew Goodman of Lakewood, WA; Donna Patrick Braun, Shelly, Catherine and Peter Tefft of Fargo, ND; Paul and Kalik Jokerst of St. Charles, MO; Stephanie Leavendusky and Sanea Markley of Springfield, MO; Erin Anderson of Minneapolis, MN; Ryan and Ray Anderson of Aberdeen, SD; Sean Tefft of Easton, MD; and Jason and Connor Woodill, Missoula, MT.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the National Liver Foundation/Great Lakes Division or The Golden Living Center, Moorhead, MN.
