Rafael “Ralph” Rositas Sr.

Rafael “Ralph” Rositas Sr., 48, of Fargo, ND, passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2018, in Elim Rehab and Care Center, Fargo, ND. Ralph was born on March 30, 1970 to Enrique and Ramona (Jimenez) Rositas in Carrizo Springs, TX. Ralph graduated from Crystal City High School, Crystal City, TX, in 1988 and joined the Marines as a member of the Reserve for 4 years.

Ralph returned to Crystal City where he was united in marriage to Christine Rositas on March 7, 1991. He attended South West Texas Junior College before moving to Moorhead in 1993. He then attended North West Technical College where he completed his education and graduated in 1994 with an Associates in Electronics. He joined Phoenix International where he worked for over 20 years as a technician and a supervisor until his illness impaired him to work.

Ralph’s life revolved around his children. He enjoyed spending as much time with his children as possible and loved attending their extracurricular activities. He was helpful and loving to his family and friends. Ralph was a simple, yet proud man.

Ralph is survived by his wife, Christine Rositas; children, Rafael Jr., Jacob, and Ciara Rositas; siblings, Enrique (Monica) Rositas Jr., Raul (Angelica) Rositas, and Maribel (Marcos) Rositas-Romero; special aunt, Guadalupe Jimenez; and many other loving relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Enrique and Ramona; and his uncles, Antonio Jimenez and Miguel Rostas Sr.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 23, 2018, at 10:00AM at St. Frances de Sales Catholic Church in Moorhead, MN with a visitation one hour prior to the service. A private family burial will be held at a later date in Texas.
