Ramona K. Braseth

Ramona K. Braseth passed away on January 24, 2004 in her home at rural Lake Park, Minnesota.Ramona Braseth was born March 13, 1940. She attended Lake Park Schools until the age of 14. She moved to Clio, Michigan to live with her brother, Everett, and his wife, Ada. She graduated from high school in Swartz Creek, Michigan. She married Bob Millwood in 1959 and had 3 children. She lived in Michigan until she retired from AO Smith Corporation and moved back to Lake Park in October, 2003. Ramona was an active member in the ladies auxiliary for the Eagles and the AmVets. She worked with the Red Cross. Ramona loved animals and she did a lot of volunteer work to raise money for the Humane Society. She was also very interested in Native American culture.Ramona is survived by two sons, Teddy Carol Millwood, Gwinn, MI, and Toby Millwood, Skandia, MI; two brothers, Benneth Sue Braseth, Lake Park, MN, and Donald Leanne Braseth, Coon Rapids, MN; five sisters, Elda Carlton St. Denis, Beach Park, IL, Alvida Denton, Lancaster, OH, Geneva Gordon Bennett, Hawley, MN, Carol Braseth, St. Cloud, MN, Rachel Curtis Anderson, Lake Park, MN; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her two beloved dogs, Tegan and Sabie. Ramona was preceded in death by her parents, Anna and Oscar Braseth, 2 brothers, Everett and Kenneth, one sister, Barbara Vaag, and her daughter, Terri Millwood.
