Raymond Kronbeck, 84, of Hawley, MN, died Sunday, November 6, 2005, at the Viking Manor Nursing Home in Ulen, Minnesota.Raymond was born to Swanie and Eliza Burnside Kronbeck on September 20, 1921 on their farm north of Hawley, Minnesota.He attended grade school north of Hawley and graduated from Hawley High School in 1940. In 1942 his father passed away suddenly of a stroke, after which Raymond took over the family farm. On June 17, 1945 Ray married Inez Enervold in Forman, North Dakota.They attended Lysne Lutheran Church, rural Hawley for 48 years, and later they moved to Hawley and joined the Hawley United Methodist Church. Raymond enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, gardening and a good game of checkers with his grandson, Rob.Raymond and Inez enjoyed taking trips with the Senior Citizens group to Nashville, Canadian Rockies, Ice Follies, Medora and a Vikings game.Ray entered the Viking Manor in Ulen in 2001, where he remained until his death.Ray and Inez celebrated their 60th Anniversary in June 2005 at the Viking Manor.Ray was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His family was his number one joy in his life.Ray will be remembered for his loving ways, smile and a little wink of his eye.He is survived by Inez, his wife of 60 years; one daughter, Raynelle Nile Anderson, Hawley, MN; one son, David Carol Kronbeck, Hawley, MN; three grandchildren, Sara Scott Rossow, Kindred, ND, Michelle Troy Jepson, Hitterdal, MN and Robert Kylie Anderson, Trimont, MN; four great grandchildren, Alex, Brooke and Karli Rossow, and Cade Jepson; one sister, June Dorrough, San Marcos, CA; one brother, Alfred Hyacinth Kronbeck, Moorhead, MN.He was preceded in death by an infant son, Rodney Wayne, his parents, brothers, Walter and Palmer and two infant brothers.
