Rebecca Baer

Rebecca Anne Baer, 45, Hawley, MN, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, due to the result of an accident.

The daughter of Moses Baer and Claudia Washburn, Rebecca was born August 31, 1971, in Minneapolis, MN. She grew up and graduated from high school in Granite Falls, MN. She went on to further her education in the field of healthcare, and worked at various nursing homes in the area, most recently at Hawley Senior Living.

Rebecca was a very outgoing person and she loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed going to the lake, travelling, crocheting, watching Nascar, and spending time outdoors. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her parents, Moses Connie Baer, of Audubon, MN and Claudia Washburn, of Granite Falls, MN; her brothers, Matthew Sheila Baer and John Baer; sister, Nissa Washburn; step-sister, Cindy Johnson; step-brothers, Dan Johnson, Steve Johnson and Mike Johnson; her grandmother, Beverly Shafer, and several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins, too numerous to mention. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Allan and Edna Baer and A. Don McCormack.
