Richard From

Richard H. From, 93, of Moorhead, died Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Rosewood on Broadway in Fargo.

Richard Harold From was born June 22, 1922 at Hitterdal, MN to Herman and Hulda Warling From. He grew up and attended school in Hitterdal. His first job was driving a Greyhound bus, where he met his future wife, Jacqueline Cofell. They were married on June 6, 1954 and made their home in Edgeley, ND. Richard began a career in plumbing that would last over 40 years. In 1964 the family moved to Moorhead, where he worked for Sherman Plumbing and Heating until he retired at the age of 62.

Richard is survived by his wife, Jacqueline, his daughters, Gail John Bartkowiak, Moorhead, Jan Farrell Turner, Fargo, and Tamme Chad Marsch, Greeley, CO; his sister, Ferne Mjor, Detroit Lakes, MN; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Todd, and 6 siblings.
