Richard N. Anderson

Richard N. Anderson, 70, of Fargo, ND, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020 in his home.

Our loving brother Richard has moved on to a greater place.  He had a life full of adventure and always had a story to tell.  During his life’s journey he lived many places and made many life long friends.  He was kind in heart and strong in body.  He worked construction for many years and became a Master Craftsman.  Richard was always happy to lend a hand to anyone.  He loved his family, friends and all animals.  Richard enjoyed spending time near water, ocean, sea, lake or river.  He loved hunting and trapping in his younger years.  Fishing was his favorite activity.  He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard H. Anderson and Marcelle (Haarsager) Anderson.  He is survived by his brother, Collin B. Anderson (Jan), Maple Grove, MN; sister Rogene Danielson (Peter), Lake Okoboji, IA; sister Jerilyn Craychee, Fargo, ND; and sister Jolene Grovum, Scott, East Grand Forks, MN; as well as many nephews and nieces.

Burial, with full military honors, will take place on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Fargo National Cemetery, Harwood, ND.
