Robert E. Lindburg

Robert was born on September 10, 1933 in Rock Island, IL to Earl and Gretchen Lindburg. He grew up in Southwest Iowa and attended school in Coal Valley, IL. Robert lived in numerous places including; Coal Valley, IL, Rock Island, IL, Belcourt, ND, and in South Dakota. Robert received his Bachelors of Arts from Augustana College in 1955. He also received a master's degree in Educational Administration from Loras College in 1973. In 1989 he received his diploma in Franchise Restaurant Management from Detroit Lakes Technical Institute. Robert was a teacher for 23 years until his retirement in 1984. Robert moved to the Fargo-Moorhead area in 2000 and lived there until his death.Robert was a States Educational Junkie. He wrote 12 songs being published in Nashville. He was also a member of BMI.He is survived by two sons; Chris Lindburg, Detroit Lakes, MN and Jeremy Lindburg, Moorhead, MN; one sister, Ruth Bill Lambrecht, East Moline, IL
