Robert L. Holm

Robert Holm, age 69, died Tuesday, March 17, 2015, in Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.

Robert Louis Holm, son of Elmer and “Mollie” Klein Holm, was born in Fargo on July 13, 1945. He grew up and received his education in Fargo until the family moved to Glyndon, MN, where he graduated from high school in 1963.

On July 3, 1965, he was married to Sandy Wayman in Glyndon. They lived briefly in Fargo before moving to their home in Glyndon. Sandy passed away on Nov. 16, 2011.

Bob was a very artistic individual who derived much pleasure in his wood carving, drawing and scrimshaw etchings. He shared his creative works with friends and family.

He is survived by his brother, James Nancy Holm, Lake Park, MN and step-sister, Beverly Myers, St. Helens, OR; sisters-in-law, Mary Bock, Fargo, ND, and Judy Narlock, Dilworth, MN, and brother-in-law, Larry Gale Wayman, Sheldon, ND, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife and his parents.

Friends and family may gather at Wright Funeral Home in Moorhead, MN on Friday, March 20, 2015 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. A graveside service will follow at 2:15 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery, Glyndon, MN.
