Rodney Woltjer

Rodney D. Woltjer, 62, Dilworth, MN, died Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo.

Rodney Dean Woltjer was born December 7, 1953 to Vernon and Deloris Tinnel Woltjer in Ada, MN. He graduated from Borup High School in 1972. After graduation, he worked for a farmer for some time and also did some mechanic work until he was no longer able to work due to his many health issues.

Throughout his life, Rodney enjoyed spending time with friends and he will be remembered for his sense of humor. He especially enjoyed spending time with family during the holidays. He also enjoyed cooking and riding snowmobile. Rodney loved his dog, Zeke, and enjoyed taking him out for walks.

Rodney is survived by his father, Vernon Woltjer, Borup; his sister, Ann Dale Reilly, West Fargo; his brother, Arland Woltjer, Moorhead; his special friend, Dell Maschek, their faithful dog, Zeke, and a cat.

He was preceded in death by his mother, and his sister, Pauline Poole.
