Roger was born in Hawley Township, Clay County, Minnesota to Oscar F. and Aquina I. Halvorson Larson on August 2, 1936. Roger's disabilities required he needed care full time. He lived at home with his parents until 1972 at which time he moved to the Training Achievement Center in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. He resided there until June of 1996, when he moved to the Divine House Assisted Living in Moorhead, Minnesota. Roger enjoyed life through his social interactions and music. His greatest joy was to sit in his rocking chair and listen to country western songs. Roger was an inspiration to all his immediate family members as a reminder to them to be thankful for their good health. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Jerry and V. Wayne Larson. He is survived by three sisters, Charlene Duane Romer, June Russell Burnside, both of Hawley, MN, and Sharon Wally McDougall of Mankato, MN; four brothers, Lowell Mary of Glyndon, MN, Keith Kay of Hawley, MN, Neil Lois of Harwood, ND and Kermit Sharon of Fargo, ND; sister-in-law, Delores Larson of Moorhead, MN; and several nieces and nephews.
