Roger Allen Fjeldahl

Roger Fjeldahl, 68, of Fargo, ND, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2019, in Fargo ND.

Roger Allen Fjeldahl was born on August 13, 1950 at Trinity Hospital in Minot, ND, to his parents Peter and Joyce (Haugen) Fjeldahl. He was raised on the family farm, South-East of Berthold, ND and graduated from Berthold High School in 1968. He attended NDSU where he graduated with a mechanical engineering degree.

He was once married to Micki Helseth and to this union was born one daughter, Andrea Fjeldahl.

Roger lived and worked in Fargo his entire adult life. After 22 years, he retired from Northern Pipe in 2016.

He loved cars (87’ vette), guns, to golf, fish, to be with family and friends, and grill out or share a meal, and spend time with his daughter and granddaughters.  Roger had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making everyone laugh.  He took his secret fudge recipe with him.

He was preceded in death by his parents Joyce and Peter, grandparents and brother David.

He is survived by his daughter Andrea Fjeldahl; granddaughters, Avary and Ella, residing in Ball Ground, GA; brother, Peter (Mary) Fjeldahl, Berthold, ND; sister Catherine (David) Howery Antler, ND; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 22, 2019, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN. Burial of ashes will take place at a later date.
