Ronald A. Felix

Ronald A. Felix, age 55, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2012, in Sanford Health, Fargo, ND, with his family by his side after a nine month illness.Ronald A. Felix was born on November 15, 1956 to Jerry and Elizabeth Sinz in Fargo, ND. He grew up and attended school in Kindred, ND. Ron worked for Overboe Body Shop in Kindred as well as a few other jobs before joining American Crystal Sugar where he has worked for the past 33 years. On August 27, 1983, he married Marcella Fairbanks in Fargo, ND. Together they had two children, Jed and Anna.Ron was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Moorhead for 25 years and a strong, proud American Crystal Sugar union member. Ron enjoyed his 1947 Harley Davidson Knucklehead, listening to music and once played in the band, Buckshot, with his brother and a high school classmate. He was a very knowledgeable man who knew much about everything and in his typical way, he had a story to go along with what he was asked about. Ron lived life to the fullest! He thoroughly enjoyed spending time in his garage tinkering as well as on the family farm. He was loved dearly by his many, many friends who spent numerous hours with him in the garage. Ron would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need, and never had a bad word to say. He will be remembered as someone who was always telling stories with his contagious laugh. Most importantly, Ron loved his family dearly as well as his dog, Brody. He will be missed by his family and numerous friends.Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Marcie Felix of Moorhead, MN; son, Jed Megan Felix of Moorhead, MN; daughter, Anna Charley Wang of Moorhead, MN; grandson, Charley Jr. Wang; brother, Carl Terrie Felix of Moorhead, MN; sister, Julie Don Brunette of Fargo, ND; nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Michael Deborah Fairbanks and sisters-in-law, Patty Fairbanks and Lara James Weber.Ron was preceded in death by his parents.
