Ronald F. Langeberg

Ronald F. Langeberg, 77, Moorhead, MN, died on May 16, 2015, in his home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.
Ronald was born in Stirum, ND, on October 19, 1937, to William and Hildegard Legler. He graduated from Stirum High School in 1955. He served in the United States Army from 1955 until 1957, and then began his career with Industrial Builders in 1958. He retired in 2000 but continued working on projects in the summers until 2014.
Ronald married Andrea Norma Fjelde on September 17, 1960 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Fargo.
Ron and Andrea spent winters in Arizona. His special place was “The Ranch” by Twin Valley, MN. There he and Andrea hosted family reunions, a wedding, and social gatherings. He loved hosting his well known deep fried turkey picnics and Cajun seafood boils. He was very proud of his garden at The Ranch and enjoyed sharing the produce. He was especially proud to be able to deliver the pumpkins to his grandchildren and neighbors.
Ron is survived by his wife, Andrea, Moorhead, MN; children Anthony Langeberg, Moorhead, MN, Shelly Langeberg, Moorhead, MN, Rod Amy Langeberg, Fergus Falls, MN, and Teresa Dean Somers, Moorhead, MN; seven grandchildren, Christoper Alfaro, Laura Hanley, Janna Langeberg, Jacob Allison Langeberg, Thomas Langeberg, Jessica and Kaitlyn Somers and seven great-grandchildren; six brothers, Larry, Sulfur, OK, Duane Gayle, Moorhead, MN, Corby Bev, Sauk Center, MN, Jim Ann Lonsdale, MN, Rick Donna, West Fargo, ND, Tim Vicki, Glyndon, MN, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral: Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Moorhead, MN.
Visitation: Tuesday, May 19, 2015, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., with a prayer service at 6:30 P.M. in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
Interment: St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Moorhead, MN.
