Ronald Gerhard "Ron" Kuehl

Ronald Gerhard “Ron” Kuehl, 89, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Riverpointe in Moorhead, MN.

Ron was born on October 27, 1933, to Ferdinand and Lela (Tabatt) Kuehl in Moorhead, MN. He was raised on the family farm near Glyndon, MN, where he attended country school and graduated from Glyndon High School. He then joined the United State Army where he served his country, being stationed in Germany.

When Ron returned from the service, he began working in construction prior to taking over the family farm. He eventually retired from farming and began renting farmland. He eventually sold the farmland and retired to Riverpointe in Moorhead where he has lived ever since.

Ron raised a large garden and enjoyed attending auction sales.

Ron is survived by his brothers, Marvin (Beverly), Moorhead, MN, twin Donald, Portland, OR; sister, Bevery Edenborg, Moorhead, MN; sister-in-law, Dorothy Kuehl, Moorhead, MN; and many other loving relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ferdinand and Lela; brothers, Clifford, Duane, and Jerome; sisters, Evelyn, Lois, Glennys, Karen, and Sharon; and many nieces, nephews, and extended relatives.

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 A.M., Monday, July 17, 2023, at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN. Burial will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Sabin, MN, following the service.

Donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery fund of Sabin or Hospice of the Red River Valley.
