Ronald Lyle Gregor

Ronald “Rockin’ Ron” Lyle Gregor, 73, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2020, in Fargo VA Hospital, Fargo, ND.

Ron was born on September 9, 1947, to Lyle and Mae (Beaudoin), in Minot, ND. He obtained his GED and served his country in the United States Military in the Navy.

Ron was a gentle soul who enjoyed being near his three sisters. He never liked the big city and always wanted to be in Moorhead. He was a member of the “Cooties.” Ron dedicated his life to the veterans of the VFW 1223 and was even a commander from 1995-1996.

Ron is survived by his daughters, Gloria Gregor, Brenda (Jeff Pingel) Gregor, and Billie (John) Trombley; grandchildren, Carlos Garcia, Zoila Moreno, Angel Flores, Lydia and Lincoln Pingel, Catherine and Logan Trombley; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Nancy (Greg) Lind and Jill (Joe) Merrill; and many other loving relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lyle and Mae; step-father, Walter Kieffer; sister, Debbie Miller; and nephew, Brent Adolfson.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, at 1:00 P.M., at Fargo National Cemetery, Fargo, ND.
