Ronald T. Zimmerman

Ronald T. Zimmerman, 93, Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead, MN, died there on Monday, October 29, 2007.Ronald was born on January 2, 1914, in Elizabeth, MN, to Harry and LaVina Wissbrod Zimmerman. He grew up and attended school in Burke County, North Dakota. He married Ruth Lindblom on August 7, 1938, in Kent, WA. They lived in California and North Dakota before moving to a farm north of Moorhead, MN, in 1946, where he farmed until retiring in 1976. Ron and Ruth traveled the United States in an RV, and also traveled to Hawaii and Sweden. They also spent summers at their lake home on Cormorant Lake, MN. Ruth died on August 23, 1995.Ronald is survived by three sons, Daniel Eleanor, Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, Wayne Joan, Ulen, MN, and Gerald Sharry, Glyndon, MN; seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Vernon, and two sisters, Dorothy and Lucille, and a daughter-in-law, Ardys Zimmerman.
