Russell S. Henry

Russell S. Henry, 57, of Moorhead, MN, died Friday, November 21, 2014, in Palliative Care at Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.

Russell Scott Henry was born on March 9, 1957, in Moorhead, MN, to Ned and Joyce Olson Henry. He grew up in Moorhead, where he attended school. On June 12, 1976 he married Carol Lichtsinn in Moorhead. Russ worked in the family business at Henry Brothers Excavating until his retirement. During his retirement, he enjoyed fishing and being at the lakes. He was always there to lend a helping hand, as he enjoyed fixing and tinkering with things. More than anything, family was the most important for Russ. He especially loved being with his grandchildren.

Russ is survived by his wife, Carol Henry, Moorhead; son, Cory Elizabeth Henry, Bedford, IN; daughter, Lyndsey Henry Mark Presnell, Terre Haute, IN; sister, Cindy Johnson, Moorhead; brothers, Mike Marlene Henry, rural Moorhead and Mark Kathy Henry, Moorhead; mother-in-law, Carolyn Lichtsinn, Moorhead; brothers-in-law, Dave Ness, Dilworth, MN, Ron Cindy Lichtsinn, Austin, MN, Jeff Deb Larson, Carver, MN and Mike Lynn Larson, Fargo; grandchildren, Conner, Elsa and Isabelle Henry and Kaiya and Emma Cox; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ned and Joyce Henry; son, Jason Henry; sister, Debbie Ness; and father-in-law, Norman Lichtsinn.
