Ruth E. Buth

Ruth Buth, 86, 214 37th Avenue South, Moorhead, MN, died on Saturday, June 18, 2005, in Elim Nursing Home, Fargo, ND.Ruth E. Voelker was born on January 30, 1919, in Winona, MN, to John and Elizabeth Voelker. She grew up and attended school there. Ruth married William F. Grams in 1941 and they moved to Moorhead, MN. She went to work at Minnette's Beauty Shop in the Comstock Hotel, eventually took over ownership and worked as a beautician for fifty years. William died on November 3, 1970. Ruth married Ardell Buth on November 27, 1982. After retiring, they spent twelve winters in Arizona at the Silver Ridge RV Park in Mesa. Ruth had served as a Volunteer at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo, ND. She enjoyed water aerobics at Concordia and also her book club.Ruth is survived by her husband, Ardell Buth, Moorhead, MN; one son, William Laura Grams, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; one daughter, Mary David Hutchinson, New Berlin, WI; four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband William; five brothers, Al, Jerome, George, Joseph and James; three sisters, Phyllis, Kathryn, and Evelyn.
