Scott D. Fossum

Scott Darrel Fossum was born February 25, 1988 in Park River, ND to Paul and Sherri (Bromley) Fossum. Scott grew up on the family farm north of Moorhead, MN and graduated from Moorhead High School in 2006. Scott graduated from NDSU in 2011 with a BS degree in accounting. Scott was hired at Widmer Roel in May 2014 and earned his CPA in July of 2015.

Scott was an avid Bison football, MN Twins and Vikings fan, he also enjoyed playing fantasy football. Scott also loved traveling and photographing the beautiful places he’s been. Scott’s passion was spending time at Cotton Lake whether enjoying the summer days on the deck or snowmobiling the frozen lake and snowy trails while exploring what’s around the next corner. No matter if it was winter or summer you could always count on him to bring the music.

Scott was a devoted uncle to his nieces Eleanor and Violet, he would do anything for them and loved them dearly.  Scott was preceded in death by his brother Cody and his grandfather Lloyd. He is survived by his parents Paul and Sherri, sister Nikki (Matt) Haugen, nieces Eleanor and Violet, grandparents Pat Fossum, Dennis and Nancy Bromley and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be dearly missed.

Memorials will be given to North Buffalo Cemetery Association, Children’s Tumor Foundation and Ultra Snowmobile Club.

Memorial Service will be held at North Buffalo Lutheran Church, rural Kragnes, MN, on Saturday, January 28, at 2:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
