Scott Joseph Bridwell

Scott Joseph Bridwell, 57, of Dilworth, MN, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at Vibra Hospital of Fargo, ND.

Scott was born on December 14, 1964, to Donald and Kathryn (Berens) Bridwell, in Fargo, ND. He grew up in Moorhead, MN, where he attended and graduated from Moorhead High School. While in high school, Scott worked with Mattson Oil Company. After high school, he began his career with the Clay County Correctional Facility as a Correctional Officer. After a long employment, he left the Sheriff’s Department and returned to Mattson Oil Company.

Scott hosted an internet radio show that showcased old rock music and enjoyed teaching gun safety.

Scott is survived by his siblings, Bart (Cathy) Bridwell, AnnDee (Mark) Pieterick, and Janet Bridwell; niece and nephews, Sarah (Red) Bridwell, Zachary Bridwell, Jason Pieterick, Justin (Jenna) Pieterick, and Joe Pieterick; Adam Heisinger, whom Scott considered like a son; and many other loving relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Kathryn; grandparents, George and Minnie Bridwell and Herman and Elizabeth Berens.

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., followed by the memorial service at 11:00 A.M., Monday, November 7, 2022, at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Sabin, MN, following the service.
