Scott Michael Raphael Sheehan

Scott Michael Raphael Sheehan, 57, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018, in Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND. Scott was born on November 16, 1960, to William and Joan (Power) Sheehan in Hyannis, MA. Scott grew up in the Cape Cod area and graduated from Barnstable High School, Barnstable, MA.

Scott moved to Arizona with his family, where he met Marilyn Thompson. Scott and Marilyn were married in 1984 in Las Vegas, NV. Together, they moved to Fargo, ND where they raised their family and Scott finished his Associates Degree in Computer Programming at Interstate Business College. Soon after his schooling, Scott worked as a car salesman for Gateway and Corwin.

Scott always had a positive outlook in life, especially with his children whom he was very proud of. He was also proud of his Irish heritage and being from Massachusetts. Scott was very active and devoted in his Catholic Faith. He enjoyed biking and watching Saturday Morning Cartoons, especially with his kids. He also enjoyed eating mussels and pizza, listening to Cheap Trick and AC/DC, and watching any movie with his favorite actor, Steven Seagal.

Scott is survived by his children, Alex (Delaney Olson) Sheehan, Joel Sheehan, and Erik (Hannah Hamilton) Sheehan; sisters, Rita and Wendy; and many other loving relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Joan; siblings, Cindy and Bill; and stepfather, Richard Day.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 10:00AM with a visitation one hour prior to the service at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
