Sharon Ann Noyes

Sharon Ann Noyes, age 76 of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, formerly of Velva, North Dakota, passed on August 30, 2018 at her home in Detroit Lakes.

Preceded in death by her sons Todd, Troy, and Jeffrey; her parents Clarence and Selma Buethe; her brother Jimmy; her sister Geri Lynn; her niece Mindy; her husband Laverne Vannett (1984); and her husband Merle Noyes (2006); She will be greatly missed by her sons Nicholas Vannett and Lenny Vannett and her Daughter Robin Barnett; her grandchildren Aaron Vannett, Nicholas Vannett, Jonathon Sather, and Brock Green; her great granddaughters Nadia Vannett and Daysha Sather; her brother Myron Buethe; her sisters Connie (Dennis) Sollid, Vicky (Brian) Ullom, Dorothy “Dede” (Bob) Guerri, Susan (Greg) Bulyca, and Jeannie (Duane) Baumgart; her 15 nieces and nephews and 22 great nieces and nephews.

Sharon was an amazing cook and an avid bowler.  She was always the life of the party and a good friend to all.   In 1976 Sharon received her license in Hair and Cosmetology.  She worked as a stylist in Velva for many years.  After marrying her husband Merle in 1983, they moved to California where Sharon was employed by a company that manages time share resorts all over the world.  Sharon worked as a trouble shooter/manager.  She would travel around to resorts that were in trouble and act as their manager until they were up and running properly.  Sharon and Merle finally retired in Kingman, Arizona.  They were very happy and loved their home in Kingman.  In 2006 when Merle passed Sharon relocated to Minnesota.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 from 1 – 2 PM followed by a memorial service at 2:00 at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
