Shelley Osman, age 55 of Moorhead, MN passed away on Monday, November 30, 2020 at the University of Minnesota-Fairview Medical Center, Minneapolis, MN.
Shelley Ann Osman was born on February 1, 1965 to Lawrence and Berniece (Mahrer) Osman in Lisbon, ND. Shelley graduated from Lisbon High School in 1983 and furthered her education at NDSCS in Wahpeton, graduating as a dental assistant. Shelley worked as a dental assistant for some time before moving to Arizona, then Wisconsin, and eventually back to Minnesota while working a variety of jobs such as an office manager, retail associate, limo driver, insurance agent and most recently, a chef at Reese & Riley’s Olive Oil & Bistro Bar. Her favorite job was running her own jewelry business, Autumn Bliss, where she was able to let her artistic talents shine.
In 2007, Shelley met the love of her life, Lance Omberg, and they have been inseparable since. She became a “bonus mom” to Mickenzie and Logan, and most recently, a grandma to Piper. Shelley and Lance enjoyed spending time camping, fishing, dancing in the kitchen, hosting Halloween parties, and watching Vikings games. She loved a good glass of wine and spending hours by the bonfire. Shelley was very close with her family, especially her sisters and she cherished memories made on vacations with them during their trips to Mexico and the Dominican Republic. Shelley was full of life, love, and passion. She will be greatly missed by her loved ones.
Shelley is survived by her life partner, Lance Omberg; children, Logan Omberg and Mickenzie (Zak) Bergstrom; granddaughter, Piper Bergstrom; siblings, Linda Haecherl, Diane (Randy) Punton, Mark (Kay) Osman, Scott (Tracy) Osman, and Amy (Aaron) Dallmann; beloved dog, Buster; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Shelley was preceded in death by her parents, niece, Autumn Haecherl; brother-in-law, Joey Haecherl; and father-in-law, Ross Omberg.
A private memorial service will be held on Friday, December 4, with a livestream available at 1:00 P.M. at www.wrightfuneral.com. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery, Lisbon, ND at a later date.
