Stanley R. Glawe

Stanley was born October 13, 1930, to Walter and Margaret McKenzie Glawe on the family farm near Vergas, MN. He grew up there, helping on the farm, attending rural country school and later Frazee High School. After high school he continued farming until enlisting in the U.S. Army in November of 1953. He served until 1955 when he returned to the family farm. On October 15, 1965, he married Ione Gollnick in Vergas. Together they lived in Vergas for a time before settling in Dilworth, MN. Stanley had most recently been working at Innovis Hospital in Fargo, ND.He is survived by his wife, Ione; sisters, Mavis Pfeiffer of Vergas, MN, and Delores Paul Wollenzine of Sheridan, WY; and many nieces and nephews.
