Stella A. Freymiller, age 93, of Fargo, ND, formerly, Bismarck, ND, died Monday, February 2, 2009, in Rosewood on Broadway under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley and with her family by her side.Stella Alvina Jalbert was born on October 24, 1915 to George and Emma Narum Jalbert on the family farm south of New England, ND. She attended local school and grew up on the family farm. Stella later attended Christi Beauty School in Bismarck and worked at several locations throughout the state until she owned her own beauty shop in Mott, ND. On August 28, 1943 she married Bill Freymiller in Baker, MT. Together they had four children. Stella received her GED at the age of 60. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, quilting and volunteering for several activities. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Bismarck and was active in the Lutheran Women's Missionary League until health problems interrupted her activities. Stella move to Fargo two years ago to be lovingly cared for by her daughter, Linda and fiancé, Anthony. Stella had been at Rosewood on Broadway since September, 2008. Blessed be the memory of Stella, she will be missed dearly by her friends and family.She is survived by her husband, Bill Freymiller of Bismarck, ND; two daughters, Linda Anthony Guerrieri McKibben of Fargo, ND and Debbie Larry DeCoteau of Tracy, CA; one son-in-law, Gordon Renz of Mandan, ND; grandchildren, Brooks Melissa, Nichole and Lindsay Nagel, Molly McKibben, Brandon and Deanna DeCoteau, Jeff and Derek Renz and Julie Kaye; two great-granddaughters, Arianna Renz and Lacy Kaye; one great-grandson, Rudy Nagel; and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Betty; one son, Fred; five brothers, Louis, Leroy, Lloyd, Earl and Francis; three sisters, Ethel, Myrtle and Delores.In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Rosewood on Broadway's Rainbow Square or the second floor.
