Steve was born on March 8, 1929, in Antigo, WI, to Frank and Avis Andrews Johnson. He grew up in Antigo and later married Dolores Kerling in Fargo, ND, on April 3, 1959. They lived in Moorhead the entire time. He worked as a breakfast cook at different places in the F/M area over the years. Steve's love was music, he played the drums for the Six Fat Dutchmen, and he loved Polka music. He was active in many different things, Presbyterian Church, RSVP and the "Steve and Dolores Johnson Christmas Show" that they put on for 28 years for underprivileged children and children with disabilities. Steve also loved football, especially the Green Bay Packers, but most important was his family and his humor. Steve is survived by his wonderful wife of 49 years, Dolores; four children, Pam Ryan, Ron Peggy, Deb Ed and Jeff Stevie; 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Vern; and many, many, many wonderful memories.He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
