Steven J. Olson

Steven J. Olson, of Moorhead, MN, died in an unfortunate accident near Barnesville, MN on April 16, 2014. Steve was the only son of Robert and Sally Olson born October 28, 1970. He grew up on a farm north of Moorhead. He graduated from Moorhead Senior High where he met the love of his life, Angie. He married Angie Walker at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Moorhead on August 18, 1990. Steve was a loving and devoted father to Johnathan, Shelby and Tristan. They lived in Glyndon, MN for years before moving back to Moorhead, near his childhood farm. Steve drove semi for Cass Clay Creamery of Fargo, ND for the past 16 years. He farmed with his father, Sonny Olson, on the farm where Steve grew up. Steve enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting, three wheeling with friends, riding his Harley Motorcycle, and most of all spending time with his loving wife, Angie and their children. Steve will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Steve is survived by his wife, Angie; son, Johnathan; daughters, Shelby and Tristan; parents, Robert and Sally Olson; sisters, Tammy Tom Stoffel, Sandra Olson, Tracy Olson, Melanie Olson; mother-in-law, Diane Anderson; brothers-in-law, Steve, Glenn Teresa, and Bryan Jill Walker; sister-in-law, Teresa Gemar; and many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Chester and Ann Olson, and Robert and Judith Olson.

Visitation: Monday, April 21, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., with prayer service at 7 p.m., in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.

Funeral: Tuesday, April 22, at 11:00 a.m., in Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Moorhead, MN.
