Steven S. Stempf

Steven Shawn Stempf age 61, died Wednesday, May 20^th 2020 in Indiana, PA.

Steven was born in Fargo, ND, November 9^th 1958 to parents Ray and Ardythe Stempf. He grew up in Glyndon and graduated from Glyndon-Felton High School and studied one year Tech school in Moorhead, MN. Worked doing odd jobs until he moved out to Pennsylvania in the 1990’s to work for the Boilermakers as a welder in industrial plants out east.

Steven enjoyed watching baseball and football and playing golf.

Steven had a very generous heart giving handouts to people that needed help, not worrying if he’d be payed back. He also supported religious organizations. Steven had a relationship with and loved the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jeff Stempf and nephew, Shawn Wright.

Steven is survived by sisters Pamela (Mike) Gruchalla and Shelly Wright; nephew, Beau (Tonya) Matson; and nieces, Mindy (John) Sackrider and Shannon (Cody) Rubertus; grandnieces and nephews, Dakota, Cole and Gage Matson, Sadie Sackrider and Shaylee Rubertus.

A family graveside service was held at Riverside Cemetery in Glyndon.
