Tammie K. Schott

Tammie K (Dronen) Schott, 65 of Fargo, ND entered into the presence of her Savior on Tuesday, June 20^th at her home.

The celebration of life will be held Thursday, June 29, at 3:30 PM at Wright Funeral Home, 605 Second Ave S, Moorhead, MN 56560. Visitation will begin at 2:30. Pastor Brad Lewis will officiate the service. The family will have a private burial service at the Riverside Cemetery in Fargo, ND.

Tammie was born on October 9^th, 1957, to DeWayne and Lillian Dronen in Jamestown, ND. The family moved to Fargo in 1965 where Tammie completed her education in Moorhead, MN.

Tammie married Jon Berg in 1979 and had three children, Melissa, David and Lindsey. Tammie and Jon farmed and raised their family in Hillsboro, ND. She later moved to Fargo in 2007. She put her heart into everything she did including her various roles at Meritcare, Hospice of the RRV, Northcreek Dental and Take Care Health. Through her last job Tammie made a lifelong friend in RuthAnn Renner, who stuck by her side through the good and bad.

Tammie was very talented at cooking and baking and loved sharing this gift with family and friends. She also enjoyed interior design, gardening, crocheting and most of all spending time with family. Tammie had a heart of gold and anyone that knew her loved her infectious laugh and smile. She inherited her father’s witty and sarcastic side and was always quick to crack a joke.

Tammie was survived by her three children Melissa Berg, of Fargo, ND, David (Dani) Berg of Mapleton, ND and Lindsey (Nathaniel) Groetsch; her five grandchildren, Westin, Hallee and Kyler Berg and Elias and Aubrey Groetsch; and her brother Randy (Tammy) Dronen of Moorhead, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents DeWaye and Lillian Dronen and two sisters Marsha Bartos and Vickie Ward.
