Tanya J. Sanvik

Tanya J. Sanvik, 39, of Hawley, MN, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, in her home.

Tanya was born October 3, 1977 in Alexandria, MN, to Ray and Kathy Quitmeyer Caauwe. She grew up and attended school in Parkers Prairie, MN, where she graduated from High School. She then attended Fergus Falls Community College. Tanya moved to Fargo where she worked for Racing Services, and later was employed for Noridian where she has worked for seventeen years. She was married to Tim Sanvik on October 16, 1999 in Parkers Prairie, MN. Together they lived in Fargo until making their home in Hawley in 2005.

Family was most important to her. She was an avid sports fan and loved attending her kids sporting events and activities. Tanya enjoyed being active in the community and socializing. She also enjoyed reading, camping and spending time outdoors. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Tim Sanvik of Hawley, MN; her children, Brendan and Addison Sanvik of Hawley, MN; her parents, Ray and Kathy Caauwe of Parkers Prairie, MN; sister, Nicole Nick Tabbert of Alexandria, MN; nephews, Nolan and Noah Tabbert; parents-in-law, Stan Deb Sanvik; brothers-in-law, Tom Amanda Sanvik, and their children, Cade and Benjamin of Maple Grove, MN, Trevor fiancé, StephanieSanvik of Miltona, MN; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation: Sunday, March 5, 2017, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., with a 4:00 p.m. prayer service at Hawley Lutheran Church, Hawley, MN.

Funeral: Monday, March 6, 2017, 2:00 p.m., at the church.

Interment: Hawley Cemetery, Hawley, Minnesota
