Teresa “Teri” A. Most, age 61, of Rice Lake, WI, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, WI.
Teresa Ann Boelter was born on January 23, 1959 in Fargo, ND to Robert “Bob” and Claudia (Peterson) Boelter. Teri graduated from Moorhead High School in 1977 and was a Moorhead Spuds hockey cheerleader. Teri worked as a dental hygienist in Fargo and met her future husband through TaeKwonDo classes. They were married in October of 1987 and had two children, Melanie and Jacob. After marriage, Teri and Duane lived on their dairy farm near Ulen before making their home in Cumberland, WI. They were very involved with TaeKwonDo where they started 14 studios and taught hundreds of students over the years. Teri obtained her second-degree black belt and was highly respected. Teri and Duane owned their own business, Handi-Lift, for many years.
Teri adored spending time outdoors and soaking up the sun. If you called Teri, she would tell you it was “sunny, 85˚, and no wind” on her deck. She was thrilled with life on the lake and enjoyed spending time on the pontoon with her family. She delighted in conversation and was lovingly known for her “green moments,” where she would tell stories and laugh so uncontrollably the words barely came out. She enjoyed spending time with her beloved furry friend, Chika. Teri will also be remembered for her wonderful birthday party planning skills and her love of red licorice.
Teri is survived by her children, Melanie Most and Jacob (Courtney) Most; grandchildren, Griffin and Aleah; father, Bob Boelter; brother, Bruce (Lois) Boelter; sisters, Lynn (David) Israelson, and Mary (Dwight) Iverson, and Janet (Brent) McEvers; and Duane Most.
Teri was preceded in death by her mother, Claudia Boelter; grandson, Mason; and nephew, Brady Oberg.
