Terry Lynn Hoaas

Terry L. Hoaas, 64, of Fargo, ND passed away peacefully at his home after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, February 22, 2017. Terry was born on June 3, 1952 to Walter and Lois Parsley Hoaas in Thief River Falls, MN. Terry and his family moved to Florida for a period of time before moving back to St. Hilaire, MN and graduating from High School in 1970. Terry worked in sales for 35 years and worked for various companies. He most notably worked as a Territorial Sales Manager for Sanitation Products for 21 years and retired in June of 2012.

In his youth, Terry raced and tested Artic Cat Racing equipment in Thief River Falls, MN. Terry loved to travel, and he traveled all over the United States, to Montego Bay, Jamaica, Caribbean Cruise, Cancun, Mexico, and Costa Rica. Terry loved playing Pinochle at Vic’s, he enjoyed golfing and spending time with his friends at the lake. He was also a master griller and was very proud of his yard.

Terry is survived by his mother, Lois Hoaas; Brother, Tim Deedee Hoaas; nieces, Tammy Todd, and Liza Johnson; Nephew, Nathan Walker; Beloved partner, Judy Tunheim; Judy’s daughters, Sara Gronvold, Amy Ben Naasz, Nichole Nick Roller, and Kari Jeremy Kvien; Judy’s 11 grandchildren and many other loving relatives and friends. Terry is preceded in death by his father, Walter; Sister, Judy Dillon; Grandson, Tyler Naasz.

Memorial Service: Saturday, March 4, at 1:00PM at Wright Funeral Home in Moorhead, MN with a visitation 1 hour prior to services.
