Terryl J. Neumann, 69, Hawley, MN, died on Saturday, November 10, 2012, in her home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.Terry Fryslie was born on May 13, 1943, in Norman, OK, to Arthur and Ardys Merrick Fryslie. She grew up and attended school in South Dakota, graduating from high school at Faith, SD. She attended Northern State College in Aberdeen, SD, and Ellendale State Teacher's College in Ellendale, ND. Terry married Curt Neumann on November 9, 1963 in Ellendale, ND. They lived in LaMoure and Jamestown, ND, Middle River, Thief River Falls, Detroit Lakes, and Hawley, MN. Terry was an artist, she especially liked painting horses. She had a talent for interior design, using her skill on five different bank buildings over the years. She was a great wife, great mother, but was an especially great grandmother.Terry is survived by her husband, Curt Neumann, Hawley, MN; two sons, Jon Neumann, Cohasset, MN, and Tom Tamara Neumann, Antioch, IL; six grandchildren, Max, Samuel, Veronica, Helena, Amelia and Joseph; her father, Arthur Fryslie, Bismarck, ND; two brothers, Tom Judy Fryslie, Bismarck, ND, and Steve Karen Fryslie, Mandan, ND; three sisters, Marci Nick Kootsikas, Rosemount, MN, Jami Jim Juelke, Sauk Centre, MN, and Susie Buzz Cope, Manhatten, MT.She was preceded in death by her mother, Ardys.Memorials may be given to Lake Agassiz Regional Library.
