Theodore Marcus Langley

Theodore M. Mark Langley, of Moorhead died on Monday, October 14th, 2013 at Eventide Living Center in Moorhead. He was born in Hayward, Wisconsin on April 29, 1917 to Pastor Thor and Mollie Langley. He grew up in Saskatchewan, Canada, attended school and graduated from the Birch Hills High School. Then he came to Moorhead to attend Concordia College. College was interrupted by WWII and he served in US Army Air Corp, later returning and graduating from Concordia in 1947.

In June 1950, he married Lucille Koehn in Moorhead at Bethesda Lutheran church and worked for Lutheran Brotherhood Life Insurance until his retirement in 1983. He and Lucille were happily married for 63 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister Margaret Pederson of Outlook, Saskatchewan; two brothers John of Edmonton, Alberta, and Wisloff of Winnipeg, Manitoba.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille and 4 children: Brad Michele Langley of St. Paul; David Pam Langley of Zumbrota, MN; Dean Lea of Albany, MN; and Jane of Phoenix, AZ. Also survived by 7 grandchildren: Lauren Caleb Langworthy of Wheeler, WI; Logan Langley of Zumbrota, MN; Jenna Chinh Truong of Roseville, MN; Marit Langley of Denver, CO; Anders, Marcus, and Matthias Langley of Albany, MN.

Visitation at Wright Funeral Home Saturday from 5-7pm, with prayer service at 7 pm. Funeral Services will be Sunday at 2pm at The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd. Interment at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
