Thomas E. Becker

Thomas E. Becker, 71, Moorhead, MN, died on Tuesday, November 8, 2005, in the Veteran's Affairs Regional Medical Center, Fargo, ND.Thomas E. Becker was born on January 3, 1934, in San Antonio, TX. He grew up and graduated from high school there. Tom served in the U.S. Army in Korea during the Korean Conflict. Following his discharge from the service, he returned to San Antonio, TX, and later moved to Minnesota, where he married Hazel Morehart on January 29, 1966 at Shelly, MN. They lived in Ada, MN, and then moved to Moorhead in March of 1967. Tom worked at Silverline Boat company, Fargo Foundry, various construction companies and operated his own company, Becker's Remodeling, as well as driving truck for several long haul trucking companies.Tom is survived by his wife, Hazel, Moorhead, MN; children, Becky Terry Ellerman, Sparta, Missouri, Steven Eugene Becker, Sandra Kay Michael Busbee, Tyler, TX, Richard Eugene Becker, Ulen, MN, and DeAnn Delaine Becker, Moorhead, MN; grandchildren, Neil Erickson House, Willard, Missouri, Stephanie Denise Burch, Tyler, TX, Samantha Samone Becker, Moorhead, MN, Tierra Nicole Becker, Moorhead, MN; great-grandchildren, Cody Nicholas House, Lees Summit, Missouri, Lacie Elizabeth Greer, Tyler, TX, Colten Blaze Mayo, Tyler, TX; brother, David Cole Lewis, Tomball, TX; sisters Marlene DePas, Tempe, AZ, and Sharon K. Lewis, Tomball, TX; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, John H. Jr., and Donald W.
