Thomas was an Altar Boy, DGF LEO (Junior Lions), and Boy Scout. He worked at Boy Scout Camp Wilderness parts of the last two summers. He was an avid reader and liked playing games with his younger siblings. He recently started teaching himself the fine art of cooking via books, coupled with trial and error. He further enjoyed tinkering with old computers and was teaching himself how to put different parts together to modify or make something work. He also enjoyed the frequent calls from his Godmother, Rose Alokolaro, of Seattle.
He is survived by his parents, Brian and Mary Norberg; siblings, John (Tara) Norberg of Frederick, MD, Adriana Norberg of Fargo, Nicholas Norberg of Grand Forks, ND, Michael Norberg of Fargo, Teresa Norberg of Fargo, Joseph, Elizabeth, and Claire Norberg of Dilworth; niece, Helen Norberg; Godparents, Tom Hall and Rose Alokolaro; uncles, Pat Norberg, Mike (Lori) Marty, and David “Tony” Marty; aunts, Adele (John) Brennan, Molly (Mike) Norberg, Kathy (Randy) Josephson, Jeanne (Bob) Gettel, and Maggie (Brad) Johnson; along with several great aunts, uncles, and cousins from both sides of the family. Thomas was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents; aunt, Anita Alokolaro; and uncle, Harold (Pat) Marty.
Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M with a wake service and Rosary beginning at 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 25, 2018, at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church in Dilworth, MN. Visitation will continue on Monday, November 26, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. at the church. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Moorhead, MN, following the service.
Thomas’ absence leaves a huge hole in our hearts for God to fill. We are in a dark place, but we are not stuck there. It is merely a tunnel which Faith, Family and Friends will see us through.
