Timothy K. Mohr

Timothy Kent Mohr, 64, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2016, in his home. Tim was born November 19, 1951, to Darril and Muriel Selness Mohr, in Moorhead, MN. He grew up and attended school in Moorhead, graduating in 1969. Following high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served until 1976. On February 1, 1978, Tim married Bonnie Jacobsen. Together they made their home in Hendrum, MN. He worked for BNSF and later for the City of Hendrum. During this time, he was also a volunteer Firefighter before becoming the Fire Chief. Tim later worked for Butler Machinery until 2007. They moved to Moorhead in 2012. Over the years, he enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing and being with family, especially his grandchildren.

Tim is survived by his wife, Bonnie; daughter, Heather Mohr and her son, Wyatt Conklin; son, Timothy Kristin Mohr and their sons, Tyler, Tatem and Miles Mohr. He is also survived by his parents, Darril and Muriel Mohr; brother, James Christine Mohr; sister, Lynette Robert Sinner; father-in-law, Harry Kay Jacobsen; and several sisters and brothers-in-law, and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Joanne Jacobsen.

Memorial Gathering: Tuesday, September 6, 2016, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., with prayer service at 7:00 p.m., in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.

Memorial Service: Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at 10:30 a.m., in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.

Interment: Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead, MN.
