Tracie D. Sheets Humphrey

Tracie Sheets Humphrey was born on October 24, 1968 in Fargo, ND. She died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 31, 2016 from complications of pneumonia. She graduated from Moorhead High School, attended NDSU in early childhood education and earned a degree in computer programming from Moorhead Community & Technical College. Through the years, she was employed at Montessori Academy, Good Shepherd Lutheran church and BCBS. She loved music, had an angelic voice and sang many solos. She was a huge Wyoming, Bison and Vikings football fan. She especially enjoyed time at Pelican Lake. Most of all, Tracie loved her family. Her beautiful daughter Hailey was the light of her life. She always said Hailey was the greatest gift and treasure she had ever been given. Tracie had a gentle, positive spirit that brought joy to those around her with her kindness, huge smile and infectious laugh. Tracie is preceded in death by Grandparents Iver and Inga Grondahl of Maddock, ND and Pearl and George Sheets of Carrington, ND and younger sister Kristin Marie. She is survived by her daughter, Hailey Humphrey of Minneapolis, MN, parents, Gyneth and Jerry Sheets of Moorhead, MN and siblings, TerryLarry Raddatz of Apple Valley, MN, Marilee Wagner of Fargo, DeeAnn Mark Roullier of Savage, MN, Chad Sheets of Perham, MN and Cathi Sheets Brian Leahy of Peoria, AZ, 11 nieces and nephews and 2 great- nephews. Tracie will be missed more than words can say.
