Tracy J. Kuehl

Tracy J. Kuehl, 58, of Glyndon, MN, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2015, in her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Tracy was born November 17, 1956, to Eugene and Elizabeth Dreier Christensen at St. John’s Hospital in Fargo, ND. She was baptized on March 31, 1957 at Trinity Lutheran Church and confirmed May 14, 1972 at Glyndon Lutheran Church. She grew up in West Fargo, ND until moving to Glyndon, MN in 1970, where she met the love of her life, Dale. On November 17, 1979, she married Dale Kuehl at Trinity Lutheran Church in Moorhead, MN. They had three children together: Erin Lyn born in 1983, Kristen Amy born in 1986, and Brett John born in 1987.

Tracy had a life-long passion for helping and healing. She worked as a registered nurse in Fargo, ND until her retirement in August 2013. The number of lives she touched as a nurse is immeasurable. In her retirement, she spent time bird watching out her front window, at the family lake cabin on Lake Eunice, and enjoyed many visits with family and friends.

While Tracy enjoyed her career as a nurse, her main love was her family. She took such pride in her children and the people they have grown to become. In December 2014, Tracy became a first-time grandma to Jackson, who was the joy of her life. She spent time snuggling him and he saved his special “grandma smiles” just for her. Her life and love will live on through him. She was the best mom and grandma and cherished time with her family. We will carry with us forever many happy memories of our time with her.

She is survived by her children, Erin Kuehl, Kristen Mark Arneson, and Brett Kuehl; grandson Jackson Arneson; parents Eugene and Elizabeth Christensen; siblings LeAnn Tony England, Bruce Christensen, and Kelli Jim Venzke; father-in-law Glenn Kuehl; brothers-in-law Bob Debbie Kuehl, Wayne Kathy Kuehl, and Fred Angie Kuehl; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Kuehl, and mother-in-law, Mildred Kuehl.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, from 5 – 7 p.m., with prayer service at 7 p.m., in Glyndon Lutheran Church, Glyndon, MN.

Funeral will be on Wednesday, at 11 a.m., in Trinity Lutheran Church, Moorhead, MN.

Interment in Riverside Cemetery, Glyndon, MN.
