Tran Van Bay

Tran, Van Bay, 84, Moorhead, MN, died in his home where he was found on Saturday, March 04, 2017.
He was born on September 30, 1932 in Saigon, Viet Nam, where he married Ly, Thi Cua. He came with his family to the United States on July 6, 1987, sponsored by the Lutheran Church and with the invaluable assistance of Vern Nolting. He went to work for Lutheran Social Services as a social worker and interpreter, retiring in 1997. His wife died on September 17, 2003.
He is survived by his children Larry Tran; Kim Phung Thi Tran; Kim Anh Tran; Rich Ngoc Tran; Kim Cuong Thi Tran; and Kim Anh Thi Tran; sister Vo, Thi Lo; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Sunday, March 5, 2017, from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and also on Monday, March 6, 2017, from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. all in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
Interment will be on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. in Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, ND.
