Troy A. Ash

Troy Allen Ash, 52, of Felton, MN, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017, with his children by his side. Troy was born December 31st, 1964 in Perham, MN to John and Lois Koplin Ash. He was baptized in Richville, MN. Growing up, Troy spent his time in the Perham and Battle Lake area, where he attended school. He had fond memories spending time with his friends and family. He enjoyed working on his dad’s truck with him, spending time in the kitchen with his mom, and getting into mischief with his brothers and cousins.

Later in life, Troy moved to the Fargo/Moorhead area. He met Jennifer Hodgson, and they welcomed two children, Casey and Allison. He made a living in the trucking industry as an owner/operator, and enjoyed working on anything with an engine. He spent most of his time socializing with friends and family, fishing, grilling, being at the lake, and the daily cruise with no planned destination. Troy especially had a soft spot in his heart for children, and his granddaughter McKinley was the apple of his eye. Troy will always be remembered by his family with his larger than life personality and endless humor. He will be forever loved and missed.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents. He is survived by his parents, John and Lois Ash; his children, Casey and Allison Ash, his brothers, Scott, Steve, and Patrick Ash; his sister, Kelly Ash Kees, and his granddaughter, McKinley Ash.
