Troy A. Heiberg

Troy Allan Heiberg, 45, died on January 5, 2015, at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.

Troy Allan Heiberg was born on August 14, 1969 in Fargo, ND to Allan and Connie Heiberg. He grew up in Hawley, graduating from Hawley High School in 1988. On December 30, 1995, he married Heidi Korkowski in Brandon, MN. They have two sons Jonathan 14 and Ryan 12, who live in Dilworth, MN.

He enjoyed spending time with his children, watching NASCAR, taking his children to Monster Jam, tinkering with anything mechanical, playing Pinochle with his friends, and telling stories with just about anyone he met.

His life work involved working on many farms in the Glyndon area, doing mechanical work, and repairing trucks. He also had a business, Heiberg Repair, where he mainly performed DOT inspections on trucks and trailers. Troy will be missed by everyone that knew him.

He is survived by his sons, Jonathan and Ryan; mother, Connie; siblings Todd Stacie, Rhonda, Shane Rochelle and Robyn Rob; his grandmother, Jean Pearson; nieces and nephews Anthony Kelsey, Austin, and Cassandra.

He was preceded in death by his father Allan; grandparents Clarence and Gen Maier, and Clifford Pearson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 10, at 10:00 a.m., with gathering one hour prior to the service in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.

Interment will be at Moorhead Memorial Gardens.
