Troy Paul Wyland, 44, of Rural Glyndon, MN, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2020, in his home.
Troy was born on July 25, 1976, to Paul and Bonnie (Johnson) Wyland in Fargo, ND. He grew up in Rural Glyndon and graduated from Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton High School. He attended and graduated from Detroit Lakes Technical College with an Associates Degree in Small Business Management. On November 14, 1998, Troy married his High School sweetheart, Veronica Varno, in Dilworth, MN. They moved to Dilworth for 12 years before moving to their rural home near Glyndon, MN.
Farming was always a part of Troy’s life. At a young age, he farmed alongside his Papa Kenny before working for Dale Fischer at Fischer Farms for a total of 25 years. He also owned and operated Property Pro’s offering lawn, snow, and spraying services. For the last six years, he was an Independent Sales Representative for Beta Seed.
Troy was an incredibly loving husband and a tremendous father who valued his family above all else. He was extremely hard working, caring, and tried to make himself available to anyone in need. He was always thinking, planning, learning, growing, and had an incredible devotion and faith in the Lord.
Troy is survived by his loving wife, Veronica; children, Cole and Kailyn Wyland; parents, Paul Wyland and Bonnie Johnson; sister, Kandi (Jayme) Thompson; grandmothers, Lois Wyland and Patricia Johnson; and many other loving relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Gordon Wyland and Kenneth Johnson; and uncle, Doug Wyland.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., followed by the prayer service at 7:00 P.M., on Thursday, September 3, 2020, at Bethel Evangelical Free Church, Fargo, ND. Visitation will continue on Friday, September 4, 2020, from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M., followed by the Funeral Service at 10:00 A.M., at the church. A private family graveside service will be held. A live stream of the service will be available on Friday, September 4, 2020, at 10:00 A.M., on Troy’s webpage at www.wrightfuneral.com where a guestbook and video tribute may also be found.
