Vance G. ’Johnny’ Ralston

Vance G. "Johnny" Ralston, 80, of rural Lake Park, died Friday, January 6, 2005, in the Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Fargo, ND.Vance "Johnny" Ralston was born on September 2, 1925 to John and Ragna Johnson Ralston in Grand Forks, ND. He grew up and attended school in Grand Forks, ND. He joined the United States Navy in September 1942 and was honorably discharged in August, 1946. On March 15, 1986 he married Angeline Grosskreutz in Cormorant, MN.Johnny was a professional musician and worked as a Film Technician for television stations and the North Dakota Highway Department until his retirement in 1989. He is survived by his wife, Angeline Ralston, rural Lake Park, MN; two sons, Gerald Cindy Ralston, Buffalo, MN and Ward Ralston, Fargo, ND; one daughter, Karen Dale Johnson, Buxton, ND; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, John & Tom Ralston; and two brothers, Lyle and Bryce Ralston.
