Vera L. Cox

Vera L. Cox, 95, of Moorhead, MN, went on to be with the Lord on August 14, 2006. She spent the last few months of her life in Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead, MN.Vera Leah Wolf was born on June 24, 1911, to Arthur and Anna Hoskins Wolf in Redwood Falls, MN. She attended school there, completing the eighth grade. Vera loved music and singing and took part in her school Glee Club. She worked for Armour Creamery in West Fargo in her teen years.She met and married Russell Cox on October 5, 1930. The farmed southwest of West Fargo for 36 years. Russell passed away in 1977.Vera is survived by one son, Donald Darlene Cox, Moorhead, MN, one daughter, Mary Ernie Jenson, Minneapolis, MN; one sister, Mabel Fred Honeycutt, Tacoma, WA; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers, Raymond, Russell "Bud" and Robert Wolf; one sister, Violet Jensen; and one granddaughter, Cindy Rae Owens.
