Vernon W. Simenson, 80, of Moorhead, MN died Monday, January 3, 2005, at Innovis Health Systems, Fargo, ND.Vernon was born April 20, 1924 to Sigurd and Ida Leverson Simenson in Hawley, MN. He grew up and attended school in Hawley, MN. Vernon served as a medic in the Army during World War II. He and Aggie Goranson were married in 1948. He worked as a salesman for Gamble-Robinson for 38 years until his retirement in 1986. After his retirement he worked for Syncor for nine years.Vernon loved spending summers at the family cabin at Little Toad Lake, playing cards with friends, spending time at the casino, deer hunting with GG and the Hilgers boys and the Little Toad Lake Golf Open.He is survived by two daughters, Connie Crimi, Jordan, MN, Trudy Darrell Anderson, Billings, MT; a special friend, Kathy Theis, Fargo, ND; one brother, Trygve 'Bud" Doris Simenson, Hawley, MN; and seven grand children, Kyle, Erin, Kelly, Ivy, Kassie, Kayli, and Ian; special sister in-law and brother in-law, Lillie and Wally Hilgers; and numerous in-laws and nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Aggie.
